RSU grad Tucker announces bid for House Dist. 10 seat

The Claremore Daily Progress provides candidates an opportunity to announce their candidancy through a news release.
Rogers State University graduate Anthony Tucker announced he will run for Oklahoma House District 10 in the upcoming June 24 state election. The district encompasses Washington, Nowata and Osage counties.
Tucker filed with the State Election Board Wednesday. He said he has imagined this day since he was a boy growing up in Bartlesville.
“My imagination and dream to represent the people of Oklahoma was fueled even further during my time at my alma mater, RSU. Claremore allowed me to grow, and I owe it a great deal for its giving nature,” he said. “I had the great privilege to learn from former Oklahoma Representative and current RSU President Dr. Larry Rice. Not to mention, I passed the gold plaque dedicated to legendary Oklahoma politician Stratton Taylor on a daily basis, and aspired to represent the people of Oklahoma just as Stratton did.”
Tucker said he believes that House District 10 embodies the Oklahoma spirit just as much, if not more than any other district in the state.
“My goal is to run on the same principles that I was instilled with as a young child — to be true to yourself and others. I believe that my time serving in multiple leadership capacities that focus around creating jobs and cultivating growth strategies, will serve as an asset for the district,” he said. “It will be through a collective effort that the district can reach its full potential economically.”
Tucker currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Driven Digital, a full-service digital marketing agency in Claremore. As the key strategist for the company, he helps generate and implement results-oriented marketing strategies for clients.
One of his many projects includes working with Safenet Services, a shelter for battered women and children, to devise a strategy to generate more donations through a year-round online donation platform.
