CLAREMORE —

Downtown Claremore is seeing more activity than usual this week with the ongoing roof repair of the Will Rogers Masonic Lodge.
“The lodge’s roof was getting very old, and was in need of repair, so the Masons contacted us about giving them a new one,” said Scott Munsinger, project manager of Red River Roofing and Construction in Tulsa.
“We’re starting by laying down two-inch Poly Insulation which will be mechanically attached.
“Following this, we’ll be laying down the thermoplastic polyoefin roofing, and the Masons should have a nice new roof by the end of the week. A project this size usually takes four or five days, so I don’t think we’ll be here after Friday,” he said.
Although early in the process, the project is proceeding “very well,” Munsinger said.
“The rain slowed us down a bit, but otherwise, things are going on schedule,” he said. “It was nice to be working in slightly cooler temperatures this morning. We certainly won’t complain about that.”
