Water line repair prompts road closure

CLAREMORE — The City of Claremore announced Monday that northbound Lynn Riggs Boulevard near the intersection at Will Rogers Boulevard would be partially closed due to the repair of an underground waterline. Traffic will be down to a single lane beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday.

At this time, it is unknown how long the repairs will take, but crews will be working as efficiently as possible, according to Communications Director Cassie Woods.
“We appreciate your patience as we work to improve your infrastructure,” Woods said.
