Claremore man killed in motorcycle crash


A Claremore man was killed Thursday morning when his motorcycle collided with a minivan on Highway 66 near Foyil.
The accident occurred around 7 a.m. at the intersection of East West 380 Road and Highway 66 northeast of Foyil. 
The motorcyclist, identified as 25-year-old Sean Hale of Claremore, was heading eastbound when a minivan driven by 51-year-old Dale Schumacher of Chelsea, pulled out in front of him heading westbound on EW 380 Road. Hale struck the front of the minvan’s left front tire and was ejected from his motorcycle, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Hale was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries. 
No helmet was in use, according to reports.
No other injuries were reported.
