3 transported to hospital following wreck

CLAREMORE —

Three persons were transported to a local hospital Friday afternoon, following a two-car accident involving a VW Bug and Chevy Cruze in south Claremore.

According to Claremore Assistant Chief of Police Charles Downum, reports of the collision came shortly after noon Friday, Feb. 14, and although still under investigation, may have been the result of one driver disobeying a traffic signal or sign.

Of the four persons in the two vehicles, three were taken to Claremore Hillcrest with minor injuries. None of the persons involved were minors.
