Innovation Center receives nomination for national entrepreneurship award

The RSU Innovation Center’s Build Bartlesville Innovative Ideas competition was recently nominated for a national entrepreneurship award from U.S. SourceLink. Build Bartlesville is one of seven entrepreneurial projects included in U.S. SourceLink’s Take 5 for Entrepreneurship national competition. Competition will be decided by popular vote through an online voting platform, which runs until 5 p.m., March 29.
The project’s story with the most votes will be recognized as the “People’s Choice” at the annual U.S. SourceLink conference April 2-3 in Kansas City, Mo. The winner will also share a $2,500 prize.
Build Bartlesville was nominated for the competition by SourceLink Tulsa, a local affiliate that connects entrepreneurs and small business owners to a network of non-profit and government agency resource partners to help build businesses.
Between the RSU Innovation Center and the Bartlesville Development Corporation, Build Bartlesville is dedicated to entrepreneurial spirit for small business start-up, upgrading a product line or service for an existing small business to increase revenues or branching into a new innovative market.
This year, the competition is offering up to two seed grants for the best proposals submitted by existing small business to increase revenues or branching into a new innovative market.
