Rogers County voters are heading to the polls in small numbers today and early projections show less than two percent of the 51,000 registered voters participating.
The election is for the renewal of the Rogers County One-Cent sales tax. Polls will be open until 7 p.m.
The Rogers County Election Board is reporting a significantly low turnout with some precincts of the county reporting no or less than 20 participants so far.
The election will decide the fate of approximately $6 million in sales tax funding currently being received by the county for roads and bridges.
Early voting resulted in approximately 200 votes and absentee ballots account for another 200 votes, according to Election Board Secretary Julie Dermody.
