Primary election races set

CLAREMORE —

The final lists of candidates who filed for the upcoming county and statewide races were announced Friday.
Republican Cathy Pinkerton-Baker will face Jason Carini in the June 24 primary election for Rogers County treasurer, and Republican Kirt Thacker  will face Ron Burrows for District 3 County Commissioner. 
Democrat Dell Davis also filed for District 3 County Commissioner and will face the winner of the Republican primary in the general election.
Democrat Dan DeLozier and Republican Grant Yates have filed for District 1 County Commissioner, and will run against each other in the November general election.
Republican Scott Marsh drew no opponent for Rogers County Assessor.
In the race for the District 12 District Attorney, Republicans Erin Oquin, Matthew Ballard and incumbent Janice Steidley will face off in the primary election. Democrat Robert Post of Catoosa will then face the winner of the Republican primary.
Current Rep. Marty Quinn drew no opponent in his filing for District 2 State Senator District 2.
Incumbent Sen. Rick Brinkley drew no opponent for District 34. 
Claremore City Councilor Mark Lepak drew no opponent in the State Representative District 9 race.
Republicans Terry O’ Donnell and David Derby drew no opponents in their bids for District 22 and 74 respectively.
Associate District Judge Sheila Condren is unopposed for State District Judge District 12 Office 2
District Judge Dwayne Steidley is unopposed for District 12 Office 3. 
Judge Steve Pazzo is unopposed for District 12 Associate District Judge.
Rogers County fire district candidates who have filed include: Dan Merkey for Verdigris Fire District Seat 2 and Mike Roberts for Foyil Fire District Seat 1.
Walton Sunny, Ricky Bruder and Justin Hall have filed for seats within the Fair Oaks Fire District. Edward Bell filed for Limestone Fire District Seat 2, Michael Smalley for Tri-District Seat 1 and Mel Dainley for Northwest Fire District Seat 2.
First-term Congressman Markwayne Mullin has drawn a challenger in the Republican primary for U.S. Congressional District 2 race. Darrel Robertson from Jay has filed.
Independent Jon Douthitt of Claremore also filed as a candidate for the Dist. 2 Congressional seat.
Democrats Earl Everett, Fort Gibson and Joshua Harris-Till, Tahlequah will meet in the primary.
Republican Randy Brogdon filed for the unexpired term for United States Senatorand will face Jason Weger, Kevin Crow, Eric C. McCray, T.W. Shannon, James Lankford and Andy Craig in the primary election. Jon Douthitt has filed as an
