ROGERS COUNTY —
A Talala woman was killed Monday afternoon in a high speed wreck in west Rogers County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Kimberly D. Deason, 33, of Talala, was eastbound on EW32 in Rogers County in her 2001 Saturn Sedan, shortly before 3 p.m., according to the report of OHP Trooper Scott Shropshire.
Deason was traveling “at a high rate of speed,” and failed to stop at the “T” intersection of EW32 and NS412, whereupon, she continued eastbound into a private drive, and struck a tree, according to the report.
Deason was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries.
She was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the collision, Shropshire reported.
Shropshire is with the Rogers County Detachment of the OHP. He was assisted in his investigation by OHP Trooper Brad Debell, also of the Rogers County Detachment.
