Toddler killed after father backs over him in SUV

OOLOGAH —

A young boy died Saturday after a sport utility vehicle backed over him at a Spencer Creek Cove campsite on Oologah Lake, according to reports made by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Two-year-old Eric Muskrat III was killed around 3 p.m. after a 1998 Ford Expedition, driven by his father struck him as the vehicle was backing up. The report states Eric Muskrat Jr., 23, failed to see the boy as he was backing out of the campsite. 
Muskrat III died at the scene, according to the OHP report.
Donations to help pay for the boy’s funeral can be made at any RCB bank, under the names Eric Muskrat or Tommie Rickman.
