Mullin to host town hall meeting

CLAREMORE —

Congressman Markwayne Mullin has scheduled a Rogers County town hall meeting on May 12 at Rogers State University in the performance studio in Baird Hall.
The event is open to the public and will start at 6 p.m.
Mullin will begin the day with two other town hall meetings in Adair and Cherokee counties.
The series of town hall meetings will launch the beginning of several occurring in the 26 counties of the Second District during the month of May.
“As a representative, communication with those you represent is crucial,” said Mullin. “When I was first elected, I committed myself to being readily available to residents of the Second District. “That’s why we’ve continually been boots on the ground, hosting what will now be our fourth round of town halls.  These town halls allow us to have the conversation about what work needs to be done in our nation and our state, and I look forward to the opportunity.”
