CLAREMORE — The last day to request an absentee ballot is quickly approaching. The deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday and requests must be made to the Rogers County Election Board located at 415 West 1st Street in Claremore.

Applications are available online at www.rogerscountyelectionboard.org or at the election board office.
All registered voters are permitted to vote via absentee but affidavits need notarized unless a special requirement is met.
Special requirements are permitted for those that are physically incapacitated including individuals confined to nursing homes.
Anyone that is charged with the care of another person who is physically incapacitated and who cannot be left unattended may also receive the exception, according to the state election board.
