On April 23, Harps Food Stores will reach a new milestone in their company’s history with the opening of its 75th store.
The new store in Inola will be the ninth Harps location in Oklahoma.
A ribbon cutting will be held at 9 a.m. at the store, located on Highway 88 just south of Highway 412. It officially opens to the public at 10.
“Our company is excited to be able to reach this milestone of opening our 75th store,” said Harps President and COO Kim Eskew. “We are also excited to be expanding our presence in Oklahoma. We have aggressive growth plans in the next five years.”
The bakery and deli will offer an assortment of decorated cakes, donuts and pastries. It will also feature “Signature Martha Harp” Fresh Fried Chicken and Rotisserie Chicken made daily and a full selection of Kretchmar meats and cheeses.
Harps offers no solution injected, no sodium added fresh beef, pork and poultry, along with the largest selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and a wide selection of name brand and private label groceries, according to Eskew.
The store will also feature gas pumps outside.
Headquartered in Springdale, Ark. since 1930, Harps is an employee-owned company which operates 75 Price Cutter and Harps grocery stores in Northern and Central Arkansas, Eastern Oklahoma, and Southern Missouri, with over 4,500 employees.
