CLAREMORE — The Rogers State baseball team committed three crucial errors and the Oklahoma Baptist Bison posted a 5-3 extra-inning victory Thursday evening at the Hillcat Complex.

The Hillcats did not die easily, tying the game in the ninth and bringing the winning run to the plate in the tenth. The Cats ninth inning rally began with a one out double by catcher Joe Manbodh who later scored on a Luis Carraballo single to centerfield sending the game to extra innings.

The Bison did not have to do much to take the lead in the tenth. RSU reliever Josh Phillipi walked two straight batters to load the bases.

Head coach Ron Bradley then turned to Jordan Clark who walked Anthony Lopez on four pitches and put the Bison ahead for good.

Brenden Davis added an insurance run for the Bison on a misplayed grounder by third baseman Billy Balak.

The Hillcats seemed determined to make another comeback in the tenth. After a single by Brandt Barnes, senior Zach Hamby drew a walk. The pair then advanced to second and third on a wild-pitch.
