Fall camp opened for Razorback Football as all 105 student-athletes made their way to campus to get ready for the 2014 campaign. Several organizational team meetings took place as the Hogs prepare for their first practice on Monday afternoon.

Senior offensive lineman Brey Cook and junior defensive tackle DeMarcus Hodge met with the media to discuss their thoughts heading into the season.

"We really want to come out there and showcase. Obviously it's a great time for competition. Younger guys will step up and challenge the older guy's sports, and starters will have to defend their positions," Cook said.

Hodge, who played 11 games in the trenches last year, made great strides in the weight room this offseason.

"I had a good summer, put in hard work with Coach Herb (Ben Herbert) with the offseason workouts and worked on (my) conditioning. I think we took great strides in that," he said.

Arkansas will hold its first practice on Monday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. and head coach Bret Bielema will address the media following practice.

The Razorbacks open their season Aug. 30 at Auburn. The season opener will begin at 3 p.m. and be broadcast nationally on the SEC Network.
