Animal cruelty charges have been filed on a Chelsea man.
Records show Bobby Heiney is facing one count of animal cruelty in Rogers County District Court.
Deputies were reportedly dispatched to a county residence in which a woman said she had been in a verbal altercation with Heiney.
“She stated that Bobby started to call her names and then said he would kill her if she left the house,” the deputy reported. “She also stated that Bobby said he would kill her family if she left the house.”
When the woman tried to leave, records show, Heiney told her she would not be taking her dog.
“She stated that every time the dog would move toward her Bobby would grab the dog, pick it up, and throw it in the air away from her,” the deputy reported.
