An amendment was made to the Claremore city budget for this fiscal year.
The council amended the budget to account for a new sanitation truck that not delivered in the last fiscal year.
Donnie Burgess said the truck was pre-approved in the 2016/2017 fiscal year.
"We talked to the dealer and the truck is in Wisconsin and is supposed to be delivered in February," he said.
Mayor Bill Flanagan explained further, "All we're doing is amending the budget to provide for a rollover of this balance. We've already purchased the truck it just wasn't delivered in the last fiscal year."
The budget rollover totaled $283,544.
City Manager Jim Thomas added that he truck was purchased under the state bidding process and was competitively bid.
