A Rogers County man was arrested earlier this week in Claremore on a charge of public intoxication.
According to the probable cause affidavit provided by the Claremore Police Department, around 3:30 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male walking along the service road near the Will Rogers Motel.
The reporting party described the male subject as having walked into someone’s room and then quickly leaving, and upon arrival, Claremore Police Officer Cassie Grettner reported finding the subject “stumbling around in an empty parking lot.”
Grettner further reported the subject “began yelling at a building,” was “unable to stand still,” and had “continuous, jerking movements, being unsteady on his feet.”
The probable cause affidavit indicated the subject, later identified as 41-year-old Joshua Lee White of Claremore, was unable to remember how he’d gotten where he was, and was “sweating excessively, continuing his jerking
movements” until he was transported to and dropped off at the jail, where he was arrested for public intoxication.
