Tulsa police have arrested a Claremore man in connection with a a homicide earlier this week.
Dustin Baker, 29, of Claremore was booked into Tulsa County Jail on charges of murder in the first degree and possession of a firearm in commission of a felony in connection with an incident involving the death of 38-year old Jason Harris.
According to police records, Harris was found dead in the front seat of a vehicle next to the retaining wall on Highway 169 Wednesday.
Baker was picked up and arrested early Wednesday as he was the owner of the vehicle and was reportedly driving the vehicle at the time of the murder, police reports indicate.
He is being held in Tulsa County Jail on a surety bond of $40,000.
This incident was Tulsa’s 68th homicide in 2017.
