Members of Claremore Firefighters Local 1077 are known for fighting fires, but they recently took steps to help fight breast cancer as they sold t-shirts to benefit Oklahoma Project Woman — an Oklahoma-based group which helps provide breast health care for the uninsured. Oklahoma Project Woman helps to provide free mammograms, diagnostic procedures and surgical services for Oklahomans of any age with no insurance and limited financial resources. Firemen raised $1,000 from their t-shirt sales and donated the money to Oklahoma Project Woman representatives earlier this week.
