This month’s Food Truck Thursday will be getting into the spirit of pumpkin spice, the changing of the leaves, and cooler temperatures with this month’s theme to be “Downtown Fall Festival.”

“It’s going to be another great food truck event, with food trucks, a scarecrow auction, a dunk tank in support of Claremore High School, and more,” said Jessica Jackson, director, Claremore Main Street.

As in previous months, Cedar Point Church will be hosting a free Kid’s Zone with inflatables, games, and more, and the Claremore Farmers Market will have a few vendors out selling fresh fruits and vegetables.

Studio B Artworks will be hosting the scarecrow auction, with the proceeds to benefit Studio B’s art programs, which promote the benefits and joys of art to young people, as well as to a downtown art project.

A total of ten scarecrows will be live-auctioned, while another 15 will be available to bid on in a silent auction, Jackson said. All scarecrows were designed by local businesses.

“We are happy to partner with Studio B Artworks on the scarecrow auction,” Jackson said. “The creativity displayed throughout the community is astonishing.

“They’re all displayed on Facebook on Studio B’s page,”she added, “so be sure to vote for your favorites to see them live auctioned at Food Truck Thursday.”

Confirmed food trucks for this month’s event include Alpha Grill Food Truck, The Bacon Food Truck, Curbside Comfort, C&J Concessions, Dorothy’s Wiches, Hoops Philly Truck, Kona Ice, La Hermosa Taco Truck, Maw & Paw Kettle Corn, MooChewSooey BBQ, Moose Trax, My Baby Can Cook, Pie in the Sky, Polickers, Purple People Feeders, Ropin Flamingo Italian Ice, and Taqueria El Jarocho.
