With Halloween just over two weeks away, area churches, organizations, schools, and groups are finalizing their plans to celebrate the spooky season with fun fall activities.

Although new events are still being added, upcoming seasonal activities include:

Wednesday, Oct. 25

• Memorial Heights Baptist Church Fall Festival

6-8 p.m. at the church, 1500 W. Will Rogers Boulevard, Claremore

Games, candy, and more, free for kids through the sixth grade

Thursday, Oct. 26

• RoCo Fit’s free Monster Dash 5k Oct 26 at Claremore Lake, 5:30 p.m. (1 mile) and 6 p.m. ( 5k)

Free and fun. Costumes are encouraged-medals to finishers from Volunteers for Youth.

Friday, Oct. 27

• Family Fall Festival

6 p.m. at Destiny Life Church, 2300 Southaven Road, Claremore

Evening of free family fun, games, candy, more

Sunday, Oct. 29

GLOW (God Lights Our Way) Family Fun Festival

5-8 p.m. at the Claremore Church of the Nazarene, 1336 North Dorothy, Claremore

Glow-in-the-dark carnival games, inflatables, Frosty Bites Snow Cones, and more. Free family fund

• Trunk or Treat

5-8 p.m. in the First Kids parking lot, Claremore First Baptist, 107 E. Will Rogers Blvd., Claremore.

Candy, hot dogs, jump houses.

Tuesday, Oct. 31

• Halloween Night at the Museum

6-8 p.m. Will Rogers Memorial Museum, 1720 W Will Rogers Blvd., Claremore

Trick or treating for children of all ages, and guests may enjoy a screening of “The Headless Horseman” starring Will Rogers in the museum theatre

• Trick or Treating at the Claremore Veterans Center

6-8 p.m. at the vet center, 3001 W Blue Starr Dr, Claremore

Veterans will be handing out candy to visiting trick-or-treaters

• Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd’s Cross (ongoing through Nov. 4)

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays at Shepherd’s Cross, 16792 E 450 Road, Claremore

Family-friendly fun which includes a hay maze, outdoor and indoor games, family animal petting barn, fall story time, truckloads of pumpkins available for purchase, straw bales, corn stalks, fall decor, and more.
