A Lavish Fashion Show, featuring men’s and women's fall fashions from Claremore area retails and boutiques, will take place in the Ne-Mar shopping center at 4 p.m.

Live wrestling at the Claremore Community Center offers more than just a good show. Wrestling for a Cause, which begins at 4:30 p.m., benefits the Claremore Wildcats special olympics softball team.

Monday, October 15

The town of Oologah will host a Special Town Meeting Monday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. to discuss renovations for the municipal building. Oologah residents are encouraged to attend.

The ribbon cutting, opening Country Club and Southaven roads to public use, will take place at 2 p.m. at the Country Club and Southaven intersection. The public is encouraged to attend.

Adult art classes from 6 to 8 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church Life Center, 115 E. 5th St.

The Genealogy Volunteers will be at Will Rogers Library from 3-7 p.m. to assist patrons researching their family history, including Native American research. We also can help with research to assist those wishing to apply for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution.

The Claremore Community Center is excited to offer free youth basketball clinics, taking place at the Claremore Community Center, four nights in October from 6:30-8 p.m. each evening.
