The J.M. Davis Arms & Historical Museum will be closed today to allow an out-of-town film crew greater access as they shoot footage for the cable TV series “Gun Stories.” 

Three Rivers Artists Art Show & Sale concludes at the end of business hours at the Will Rogers Library 1515 N. Florence, Claremore.

SATURDAY, May 13

Letter carrier food drive. Non perishable food items can be left in or beside mail boxes for carriers to pick up. Food is for local food pantries.

OES Pancake Breakfast 7-10:30 a.m. at the Sr Citizens Center in Claremore. $6 for pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits & gray, OJ, coffee and water.

Christ United Methodist Church hosts Garage Sale and Fry Bread Sale 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 317 S. Davis. Information: 918-923-6478.

MONDAY May 15

Free assistance with genealogy research is available 3-7 p.m. at the Will Rogers Library, 1515 N Florence Ave., Claremore.

Oklahoma Historical Society Executive Director Bob Blackburn will be guest speaker for a combined Claremore Friends of the Library and Will Rogers Memorial Museum Milam Lecture Series Monday night. The meeting, FOL’s annual meeting, will be at 6 p.m. at the Museum Theatre. Admission is free and open to the public.

THURSDAY May 25

Rogers County Free Medical Clinic 6 p.m. at Rogers County Health Department, 2664 N. Highway 88, Claremore. Persons attending must live in Rogers County and have no other health insurance, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Sooner Care or others. Information: 918-341-3166.
