Safenet Services 2017 Garden Tour 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Area homes and gardens to be included on this tour to raise funds for Safenet Services, with the women of St. Paul Episcopal Church to host the Garden Pary Luncheon 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum. Tri-State Gun Fighters High Noon Shoot Out. Guest marshal's are Matt Bradley and Natalie Cash from the K-95 FM morning show. Cowboy and cowgirl re enactors will before a street shoot out, bank robbery and more at the J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum in downtown Claremore at 5th street and highway 66. Free and open to the public.

Family Day at the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch will be “back to the basics” 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Special guests will be former Claremore resident Dave Fowler, Murrell Home Historic Site director, and Jennifer Frazee, Murrell Home, talking and demonstrating 19th Century agricltural practices and domestic life. Returning will be Robert Gibbs, Rogers County Conservation District educator, with his traveling program on nature and natural resources.

“Hero Central” Vacation Bible School 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Claremore First United Methodist Church. VBS runs through Friday, June 9, and is open for children entering kindergarten and through the sixth grade. Information: 918-341-4580.
