Church offers art classes

First Presbyterian Church of Claremore’s School for the Arts will host classes in drawing and painting, ceramics and wheel throwing, Monday through Thursday for a four-week period Feb. 5 through March 1. Adult class: 1:15-3:15 p.m.; $100 plus supplies. Children grades 3-12: 3:30-4:30 p.m.; $75 plus supplies. Classes will be taught in the church’s Life Center by Virgil Lampton, professor emeritus at University of Tulsa. For more information, call 341-7867.



Inola Spanish Club enchilada dinner set

Inola High School’s Spanish Club Enchilada Dinner will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5 during the Berryhill-Inola basketball game. Advance tickets are $4 or $5 at the door. Kids 12 and under, $4.



Public speaking workshop offered

Claremore College Hill Toastmasters will host a Speechcraft workshop on public speaking beginning Feb. 6 for six consecutive sessions.
