Senator James Lankford will host several public meetings throughout the state during the month of April.
Claremore Collective will host “Java with James” on Tuesday, April 18 from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at North Block Common located at 115 North Missouri Avenue.
Young professionals and community members are encouraged to attend this free event for a community conversation with Lankford. Lankford is expected to provide a few remarks with updates from Washington D.C., followed by questions from attendees.
Lankford hosts weekly Wednesday morning coffee conversations in D.C. during regularly-scheduled senate sessions. During his break back in Oklahoma, he is including several communities on a “whistle-stop tour” of the region.
The goal is an effort to keep Oklahomans informed about what their elected officials are doing in Washington.
Participants are encouraged to RSVP for Java with James with Meggie Froman-Knight at 918-283-8240 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
