CATOOSA– Life.Church will launch its 28th location and the seventh in the Tulsa metro area this March in Catoosa. Services will begin Sunday, March 25 at 8:30, 10, and 11:30 a.m. at Life.Church Catoosa, located at 19603 E. Admiral Pl.
“God is moving in a big way in Catoosa and the surrounding area, and we’re eager to be a part of it,” said Life.Church Catoosa Pastor Rob Beckley. “Our attenders have been so excited to see construction move along, and we’re thrilled that we can welcome everyone into the new space in just a matter of days.”
Catoosa natives Tim and Barbara Esau have attended Life.Church for four years, and they are looking forward to finally attending Life.Church in their hometown. Though they’re in their 70s and have attended traditional churches their whole lives, they were attracted to Life.Church when they saw young families fully engaged.
“We love the high energy of having all the young people around us,” said Barbara Esau. “The first time we came to Life.Church, Tim and I looked at each other and said, ‘We’re home.’”
Tim Esau needs a walker to get around, and Barbara had a stroke in December, but they refuse to take a break from serving at Life.Church and can’t wait to help with the Life.Church Catoosa opening.
“As our pastor says: if you aren’t dead, you aren’t done. We’re retired from working in town, not retired from life,” said Barbara.
Life.Church is made up of people from different backgrounds who are linked together by a common mission: leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. The atmosphere at Life.Church is casual, friendly, and focused on meeting the needs of the people who walk through the doors.
“One of the things I love most about Life.Church is that no matter what you look like, who your friends are, or what you’re going through, you’re welcome here,” said Beckley.
The services begin with high-energy worship and feature biblical teaching from Senior Pastor Craig Groeschel. In LifeKids, children (birth-6th grade) learn through age-appropriate curriculum created by Life.Church while adult volunteers lead discussions and care for each child.
Life.Church Catoosa broke ground on the 37,059 square-foot building in May 2017. For more information about Life.Church Catoosa, visit www.life.church/catoosa.
