Robson Performing Arts Center presents live action art with touring production Artrageous

Imagine an artist creating a masterpiece before your eyes in mere moments. With a palette that mixes captivating vocals, intricate choreography and exciting audience interaction – Artrageous takes you on a unique visual journey packed with wild inspiration, creativity and fun! Coming to Claremore’s Robson Performing Arts Center on Friday, September 28th at 7pm, this touring production is not to be missed.

As soon as you step into the theatre the Artrageous cast welcomes you into their world. Through immersive activity, their camaraderie sweeps you along and you get a glimpse of what’s to come. Family friendly, the audience guesses as famous icons are painted live. The Artrageous artists collaborate with each other inspired by the troupe’s world class vocalists, musicians and dancers.

You are transported to an otherworldly realm with bold colors and mysterious characters. A team of artists skillfully work together as a masterpiece is revealed. “This production is so much fun for everyone,” states Ruby Quinn, director of the PAC, “it’s amazing to see canvases spinning as artists paint and create these giant pieces of art, such as Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, and Garth Brooks.” The audience gets a chance to own the art with a live auction. “Not only are they painting,” adds Quinn, “they are also amazing singers and dancers.”
