Starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, and continuing for three evenings, a cast of 12 characters, along with sheep, a cow, donkey and camel will portray a living Nativity scene in the parking lot of the First United Methodist Church.

“You can drive through,” Morgan Dowell said, saying visitors will be able to enter the church grounds on the north entrance and exit at the south entrance.

Entitled “It Happened One Night/A Trip to Bethlehem” the event is being called a “gift to the community from the church family of FUMC and their men’s ministry.

“Our prayer would be that our Nativity would be an opportunity for individuals and families to connect with the Christmas Story,” Dowell said.

First United Methodist is located one-quarter mile north of Will Rogers Memorial on Highway 88, the left side.
