A Rogers County woman was killed over the weekend in a single vehicle auto fatality.

According to the report of OHP Trooper Scott Bickel, 30-year old Tobi Moss of Chelsea was southbound in her 1997 Nissan four-door on State Highway 66, two miles south of Chelsea, shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday night.

For unknown reasons, Moss’ vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, then came back onto the highway, overcorrected, and ran off the right side of the roadway again, rolling twice, before coming to a rest on its wheels.

Moss was ejected 30 feet from her vehicle during the accident, and expired at the scene from head, trunk internal, trunk external, arm and leg injuries. She was transported by Pafford Ambulance to Rice Funeral Service in Claremore.

Trooper Buckle’s report noted seatbelts were equipped in Moss’ vehicle but were not in use at the time of the accident.
