A 15-year-old girl from Claremore has died after authorities say the vehicle in which she was riding failed to yield for a stop sign and was hit by a pickup.

Courtney Gardiner died at the scene of the crash, which happened about 3:40 p.m. Saturday at a rural Rogers County intersection.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Felicia Renee Gardiner was driving the vehicle, which had three passengers - two teenagers and an 18-month-old girl.

Troopers say Felicia Gardiner didn't yield at the intersection and that the pickup, driven by 48-year-old Robert Lee Cox of Claremore, then hit Felicia Gardiner's vehicle.

Felicia Gardner and her two other passengers were injured, as was Cox.
