Two men previously found guilty of their crimes were sentenced to prison time in Rogers County District Court last week.

Allen Dallas Weddle, 46, was found guilty by a jury of attempted robbery using a weapon, assault and batter with a deadly weapon and first-degree burglary in November. Judge Dwayne Steidley followed the jury’s recommendation sentencing Weddle to 25 years in prison on count one, 20 years on count two and 20 years on count three, all to run concurrently.

Weddle was accused of stabbing Oologah-Talala Emergency Medical Services EMT Emily O’Banion in the early hours of May 2, 2005, at the OTEMS station in Oologah.

During testimony at the trial, several witnesses stated during medical calls leading up to the stabbing, Weddle would always ask to be given the painkiller Morphine. O’Banion told the jury after Weddle had stabbed her, he demanded she give him Morphine.

Also sentenced in Judge Steidley’s court was Randall Travis Green.

A jury found Green guilty of 10 charges in October and Judge Steidley followed their recommendation for sentencing. Green was given 20 years in prison for first-degree rape; five years for forcible sodomy; one year for extortion; seven years for first-degree burglary; five years for kidnapping; 10 years each for two first-degree rape charges; five years for forcible sodomy; and five years each for two second-degree rape charges. All sentences were set to run concurrently.

During the trial three teenage girls and a woman in her 20s testified that Green had raped them on occasions between October 2005 and January 2006.

Two of the teenage victims were eighth-graders who testified Green sexually assaulted them one night while one of the girls was baby-sitting for a friend. One assault was said to have happened in a bedroom while the other in the garage of the home. The assaults were not reported for a period of months.

The third victim, a ninth-grader, testified she was friends with Green’s younger sister and had been assaulted by Green more than once.

She testified the first incident occurred the first time she spent the night at the Green residence in November 2005. The victim said she then stayed a second night and about six more times and that Green did not attempt to assault her again until Jan. 3, 2006.

That’s when she told the jury Green gave her a ride home from his residence, at the request of his sister, and he drove to a wooded area and raped the victim. She added that Green then drove her home.

The adult victim testified she had met Green at her apartment complex through a friend late one night and when she attempted to return to her apartment and close the door, Green forced his way in and raped and sexually assaulted her over a period of three hours in August 2005.

After the assault, which occurred with the woman’s children in the apartment, Green ordered the victim to write a note stating she gave him permission to “explore her body.” She stated she did not call authorities because Green said, “I will not hesitate to slit your daughter’s throat.”
