Shawn Flowers was found and arrested 600 yards from the scene of a shooting.

This is according to Claremore Police Department who arrested the man on felony allegations of shooting with intent to kill.

CPD records show officers responded to Mike’s Tire, on J.M. Davis, in reference to someone shooting from a vehicle.

Witnesses reportedly told officers they saw Shawn Flowers’ truck drive by the building as they heard glass breaking. Officers were shown that the shot broke out the back window of a vehicle that was parked directly in front of the building.

“Shawn Flowers was located and arrested less than 600 yards from the scene of the shooting,” according to CPD. “When contacted, Shawn was standing in the open driver’s side door preparing to leave Dollar General on North Lynn Riggs. Blvd. Inside the center console officers located a Daisy Powerline 5501 BB Pistol. Officers found the pistol to be charged with CO2 and loaded with BBs.”

Officers report that Flowers has been in an “ongoing, and at times violent,” dispute over his late father’s estate.

In addition to the shooting offense, Flowers was picked up on an outstanding warrant for third degree forgery.

“He was additionally out on bond for burglarizing Mike’s Tire as part of the ongoing dispute,” according to CPD.
