The Master Gardeners Association of Rogers County is currently taking applications for spots in its upcoming Master Gardeners class.

“If you’ve ever wanted to have more knowledge in the aspects of homeowner gardening, tree and shrub care, identifying and controlling insect and disease issues around your lawn and property, becoming a Master Gardener well help equip you with the knowledge you need,” said John Haase, OSU Extension/Master Gardener coordinator. “We’ve still got some (student) spots available for the next class, but they’re filling up quickly, so we would encourage anyone interested to sign up sooner rather than later.”

Classes begin Nov. 30 and is a 16-week program, the culmination of which certifies attendees as Master Gardeners.
