Persons wishing to honor Air Force Col. Ronald Scott are encouraged to do so today, when Col. Scott’s remains come through Claremore to Rice Funeral Service.
Col. Scott’s flight is due in Tulsa at 11:40 a.m., when they will be collected by funeral home representatives and make their trip to Claremore.
Barring delays, Col. Scott’s remains should be coming into Claremore from the south via SH66 some time after 1:15 p.m. or 1:30 p.m., funeral service spokesperson Chris Teel estimated.
Col. Scott’s return route will continue on SH66 then turn east onto Patti Page Boulevard, where it will proceed to the funeral home.
Col. Scott’s graveside funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Persons wishing to honor Col. Scott may line up along his return route with signs, American flags, and other tokens of honor.
Should any delays or changes be made to Col. Scott’s return, the Progress will post updates as they become available.
