Municipal seat candidates throughout Rogers County are scheduled to face-off during today's election at various precincts from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

In Claremore Ward 4, candidates aiming to fill one seat there are Will Demier, Bryan McDonald and Frank Church; Ward 3 candidates for a vacant seat there are Pam Ziriax, Ken Hays and Shelly Taylor; and Ward 2 candidates are Don Purkey, Justin Michael and Mickey Keely.
Claremore Wards Susan Kirtley and Scott Savage garnered no opposition, automatically winning their seat by default.
Kirtley will serve four years, while Savage’s term is two years.
In Inola Dan Corle and Dale Runyan will face off against each other along with Lonnie Chasteen, Darlene Shear and Tommie Grigg for two trustee positions carrying terms of two and four years, respectively.
Inola Treasurer Glennie Spurlock and Town Clerk Brandi Powell will keep their seats, drawing no opposition.
In Chelsea, the top three votes for three trustee positions filed by candidates Bobby Wilson, Leah Shankle, Mike Provence and Richard Ploss will be decided today as well. Chelsea Town Treasurer George Fraley will remain in his seat for another four years after drawing no opposition.
Candidates in Verdigris, Catoosa and Oologah drew no opposition and will remain in those seats, with the exception of the Oologah Ward 2 position, where no interest was shown.
