Claremore Progress publisher Kristy J. Geisler, said the newspaper is accepting nominations for local people who are the achievers, innovators and leaders in their field for year two of 40 under 40. The 40 chosen will be featured in the August/September issue of the newspaper's Reveal magazine and at a hosted awards event.
"Last year we honored some really wonderful and amazing people," Geisler said. "We had over 112 submissions, and 40 selected for the 2017 class. We look forward to again recognizing Rogers counties best group of young adults this year.”
The winners will be chosen by a panel of business leaders based on their influence on local business, industry, nonprofits, the faith community and community involvement. They must be 40 years of age or younger as of July 31, 2018.
The deadline for applications is July 6. Applications can be emailed to you by calling the Claremore Progress at 918-341-1101 or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
"You can nominate someone or send your own nomination form to us," Geisler added. "We are encouraged by the talent and dedication this age group is demonstrating in all aspects of their lives here in our community. We look forward to telling their stories in our Reveal magazine."
