Lutz

A convicted sex offender is facing criminal charges.

Rogers County court records show David Lutz, of Inola, is facing two counts of possession of child pornography.

Videos and images of pornography involving juveniles were allegedly found on Lutz' cell phone, according to the affidavit filed in the case.

He was arrested on these charges and bond was set at $70,000.

Records show Lutz was required to register as a sex offender in Delaware County after a count of lewd or indecent proposals/acts to a child in 1990. in 1998 he was convicted of sexual battery, also in Delaware County.

Lutz was reportedly convicted of first degree rape and failure to register as a sex offender in 2003.

"As a result of his convictions, the Oklahoma Sex & Violent Offender Registry has classified Lutz as a Level 3 Aggravated and Habitual Offender and thus required to register as such throughout the remainder of his lifetime."
