All Claremore Animal Shelter dogs will be outside Petsense in Claremore Saturday from 12-3 p.m. for National Clear the Shelters Day. All dog adoptions will be half price in an effort to give pets a forever home with their forever families.

For more information on Claremore’s Clear the Shelter Day you can contact Animal Control Supervisor Jean Hurst at 918-341-1260 or follow the Claremore Animal Shelter on Facebook.

“Remi” is a friendly 2-year-old lab retreiver mix who is looking for a good home with a kind caretaker. She was found and picked up by the shelter running along the side of the highway. “Remi” was examined by a vet upon entry into the shelter and was diagnosed with heart worms, a parasite that infests, lives and grow inside a dogs heart that can be life threatening if not properly treated. “Remi” needs a good home with a family who can help her get the six months of life saving medication she needs. Because “Remi” is already spayed, her adoption fee is only $40, but if you stop by Petsense in Claremore Saturday you can adopt “Remi” or any of her fellow furry friends for half of the usual cost. Contact the shelter at 918-341-1260 or visit them during regular hours of operation at 815 Ramm Road.
