Police arrested two people in connection with an early morning murder in Talala Saturday.
Robert Kraft, 29, is charged with the first degree murder of Justin Johnson outside of the home of Elizabeth Rollings, 25, where Johnson previously lived, some time between midnight and 3 a.m.
According to police reports, multiple neighbors overheard a domestic dispute between Rollings and Johnson, around midnight, followed by the sound of two vehicles quickly leaving the scene.
At 3 a.m., a witness called 911 to report finding Johnson’s body, covered in blood in the front yard. Rogers County deputies found Johnson bleeding from an apparent stab wound in his chest, with abrasions and bruising on his face. Johnson was pronounced dead on the scene.
Upon arrest and police reports indicate Kraft confessed to stabbing Johnson in self defense.
Rollings is charged with obstructing an officer, child neglect, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm while committing a felony.
According to police records, Rollings initially told officers that she witnessed an altercation between Kraft and Johnson from the front porch, that she left with Kraft and that she did not know Johnson was dead until she was notified by a neighbor later that day.
When confronted with Kraft’s confession, Rollings reportedly invoked her rights and requested to speak with an attorney. Rollings reported being in a sexual relationship with both Johnson and Kraft.
A search warrant issued for the Rollings and Johnson’s home reportedly revealed marijuana and firearms left within reach of Rollings' juvenile daughter.
Court appearances have not yet been set.
