Two women are facing felony child neglect charges in Rogers County.
Claremore Police Department records show charges were filed and a warrant was issuedfor Aileen Hodge, of Adair, on Monday.
The affidavit filed in the case says Hodge willfully/maliciously neglected her newborn, born Oct. 17, by “failing to protect the infant from the use/possession of methamphetamine…resulting in the victim being born with methamphetamine in his system.”
Hodge's bond was set at $60,000.
Rebecca Marlin, of Claremore, is also facing a felony count of child neglect.
The affidavit filed in this case states that Marlin resides at a residence in which a drug arrest was made.
Marlin reportedly admitted that the marijuana found in the residence was hers, but not the meth.
Records show that two minor children were living in the residence.
“These minor children had access to the areas where the controlled dangerous substances were located," according to the affidavit.
