Following his schooling he began his work career with North American. Later Mike became a police officer and served the Claremore community for about 8 years. His next employment was with Bosco Nuts and Bolts working as a sales representative. In the 1980’s Mike’s political career began with Rogers County Treasurer, finishing his father-in-laws term before being voted into office. Mike invented Ryan-O Dock Rollers and founded the company which he owned and operated on Grand Lake for the past 20 plus years.
Mike loved the outdoors spending time hunting, fishing and he loved his pets. His personality was contagious and he could become your friend at the first meeting. This served him well in his business adventures throughout the years.
