Gina passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013. She was 51.

Born in Tulsa on Dec. 18, 1961, to Charles and Margel (Southern) Coleman, Gina received her education from Verdigris, thru the 8th grade; and then on to Claremore thru the 12th. Following her graduation with the class of 1980, Gina continued her education by attending NEO A&M in Miami with a vocal scholarship.

Gina married Sam Hill and this union was blessed with 3 wonderful children, together they made their home in Tulsa. Gina worked many years with Dean Witter investments. She later held positions with Mutual of Omaha and Met Life, issuing group health insurance policies. She most recently was a self-employed agent in this same field. Gina was a hard worker and considered her clients her friends and her friends her clients. Her love of decorating and of people was the reason for her enjoyment of working at Pottery Barn.

On Nov. 27, 2004, Gina married Michael Rice. This union brought together best friends; each complimented the other. Her infectious smile that could brighten any room seemed all so natural in Gina’s personality. Her ability to make friends was second to none. It took only a few moments from the time you met her that you were considered her great friend.

Gina’s first priority was her family and took great care of them. She was most happy when her grandchildren came along and loved spending as much time with them as possible, she was their GiGi. Gina, an accomplished vocalist, loved to sing and was often accompanied by Michael on the guitar. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking. You always felt comfortable and welcomed being in her home.  She loved to watch a good movie and an adored reading many books, especially the Bible.

A caring and compassionate lady, Gina leaves an abundance of memories for her family and friends to treasure. Her beloved family that survive include her husband Michael of their home; her parents Charles and Margel Coleman of Verdigris; her children Katie Dianne McCutchin and husband Shawn of Jenks, Ryan Joseph Hill and wife Kari of Dallas, Jennie Marie Hill of Oklahoma City, Spencer Michael Rice of Norman, Kacey Elaine Rice and Sarah Michelle Rice both of Tulsa; her grandchildren Henry Michael McCutchin and Mila Claire Hill; her twin sisters Joy Leigh Coleman of Dallas and Jill Lynn Coleman Johnson and husband Bryan of Tulsa; her brother Charles Scott Coleman and wife Terry of San Francisco; her nieces and nephews Hilary Duenner, Robby Duenner, Allison Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Charlie Coleman and Samuel Coleman and many cousins and extended family members.
