CLAREMORE — On Saturday evening, Sept. 28, at Claremore Nursing Home, Eunice Kathleen Stuart was ushered into the glorious presence of God.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 at Sequoyah Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Serenity Funerals and Crematory.

Kathleen was a gifted violinist and she taught herself the piano.

She served God for several years at Trinity Baptist Church as librarian, teacher and pianist. She later joined the fellowship of Sequoyah Baptist Church.

She was born in Muskogee, Okla. on Nov. 17, 1923 to Oscar G. hall and Hazel D. (White) Hall.

In her late teens, she met, fell in love with and married a young soldier, Richard Loyd Stuart on Aug. 2, 1942 in Muskogee.

She is survived by her son, Richard Alan Stuart of Claremore; one grand-daughter, Jula Kathleen Witt of Halltown, Mo., two great-grandsons; and one great-great-grandson.
