CLAREMORE — Memorial Services for Theresa (Terri) Marie Clark, 85, who died on May 16, 2013, will be held at 11a.m. on August 3 at First Christian Church in Claremore.

Theresa was born to the late Glenn and Hazel Mosher, on January 15, 1928 in Wichita, Kan.

She graduated from East High School in 1946 and received a BA degree in Christian Education from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma, in 1950.

Shortly after graduation, she moved to St. Louis to become the youth and education director for Hamilton Avenue Christian Church. It was there that she met the love of her life,

Robert Clark. They were married on April 28, 1951 in Wichita where they lived until her retirement from the Boeing Military Airplane Company in 1975.

Later that year, they moved to Enid to open The Guitar Store, which they operated for more than 25 years.

After closing the music store and her second retirement, Theresa and Robert moved to Claremore to be close to their son and his family.

Theresa was an active member of Central Christian Church in Enid where she sang in the choir and had leadership roles in the Christian Women's Fellowship.

During the last ten years, she was a member of First Christian Church in Claremore.

Theresa is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert, their son Barry, daughter-in-law Jean Ann, and granddaughter Madeline, all of Claremore. She is also survived by her sister Donna Ross, of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to be sent to First Christian Church Claremore.
