CLAREMORE — Leo Allen Murray, son of W.T. Murray and Pearl Barnes Murray went to his new home on Feb. 17, 2013. He was born May 8, 1931 in Muskogee, Okla. with two older brothers Homer Murray and Robert Murray.  Leo graduated from Muskogee Central High School in 1949, attended Muskogee Jr. College and then joined the U.S. Navy.  He served four years on the U.S.S. Lark Minesweeper.  While in the Navy Leo married his high school sweetheart, Barbara White.

He leaves his wife Barbara of 61 years, daughter Lennette Lawless and husband Alan, son Mark Murray and wife Tami Summers, son Kelly Murray and wife Kimberly, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many close friends.

Services will be held this Friday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Claremore, Okla.  Should friends desire, contributions may be made to the Claremore First United Methodist Church Food Bank,   

Claremore Veterans Center or the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
