Kaden Michael Robinson

CLAREMORE — A celebration of the life of Kaden Michael Robinson will be 1 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2014 in the Chapel of the Garden at Rice Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Seneca Cemetery, Seneca, Mo. under the direction of Rice Funeral Service. Kaden passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014. He was 5 years old.

Born on August 15, 2008 in Claremore, OK to Kris and Amie (Matherly) Robinson, Kaden was an adorable and sweet green eyed boy with long eyelashes that made everyone he came into contact with smile. One of Kaden’s favorite things to do was sing and dance with his mom. Known as a cuddle bug, dad would get “Bubba” and the two of them would snuggle up and watch G.I. Joe movies. Cute as a button, Kaden had not only his teacher at Catalayah School wrapped around his fingers, but also the maintenance crew and staff as well. They would often stop by just to see him or give him rides around campus.

Kaden was drawn to water and loved boating and swimming. “Captain Kaden,” while aboard the family boat, enjoyed sitting with Grandpa or floating around weightlessly in the water. He really just loved being outdoors but did not like the sun in his eyes. On family vacations to Florida and Galveston Kaden was able to swim in the ocean and sit on the warm sand of the beach. He really just loved being outdoors but did not like the sun in his eyes.

Pudding and ice cream were two of Kaden’s favorite treats, and Kaden was not picky, any flavor of ice cream would do.  Kaden adored music, especially while riding in the car. He also loved getting a relaxing head massage. He touched so many in his short life. Many people were happy to help and offer assistance for this affectionate and spirited child. Family, friends and neighbors were all instrumental in Kaden’s care and they also benefitted as their lives were made richer just from knowing him. It was said that Kaden taught many people to be humble and appreciate each moment we are given. His brothers were also a big part of Kaden’s life. Many times when he realized they were gone he would make his own special sound, some would call a yell, until they returned. They also helped mom with fixing his meals and just doing what brothers do.

This loving son, brother, grandson and nephew will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Kaden is survived by his father Kris Robinson; mother Amie Robinson and boyfriend Jeremy Reed; grandparents Leon and Rennah Robinson; great grandmother Helen Prater; uncles Marty Matherly and wife Jenny; Kurt Robinson and wife Savannah; brothers Braxton and Braydon Moeher; cousins Rebekah, Rachel, Olivia, Evan and Quinton Robinson; and numerous neighbors and friends. Kaden was preceded in death by his grandparents Monte and Julee Matherly, brother Bryson Moeher, great grandfather Robert Prater, great grandparents James and Beulah Robinson, great grandparents Grace and Eugene Clifton and Deloris and Nathan Matherly.
