Bucky Leon Bolen

CLAREMORE — A celebration service for Bucky Leon Bolen will be 10 a.m., Monday, Feb., 3, 2014 in the Chapel of the Garden at Rice Funeral Service.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.  Visitation will be Monday, from 8:30 a.m., until service time.   

Bucky was born on Oct. 16, 1966 in Tulsa to Leon and Nancy (Whitmire) Bolen.  

Bucky passed away from this life on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 from complications of pneumonia. He was 47.

Family and friends will always remember him as someone who was full of life.  

Bucky always had a story to tell and usually had everyone laughing. He graduated from Claremore High School in 1984.

Bucky is survived by his girlfriend, Randi Spurlock, of Tulsa, his son Garrett Patch of Owasso, mother, Nancy Goggans and husband, John of Claremore, father, Leon Bolen and wife, Cindy of Sperry, sister, Becky and husband, Greg Haddad of Claremore, brother, Benny Bolen of Tulsa, grandmother, Dorothy Whitmire of Claremore, nephews Adam Eagleburger and Clayton Rackley of Claremore, niece Bella Blue Bolen of Tulsa, aunt Judy Donaho of Copan, cousins Clint and Lorena Donaho, Troy Donaho and Dean and Deana Price all of Copan.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Whitmire, who was a huge influence in his life, grandparents Harvey and Hilda Bolen.

    She is the daughter of Fred and Ida Cook Birchmeier. She spent her early life traveling, as her dad worked on the pipeline construction projects. She was in the 4th grade when her family bought a farm in Emporia, Kan.
