Zachary ‘Zach’ Andrew Carson

CLAREMORE — A celebration of the life of Zachary Carson will be 11  a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Chapel of the Garden at Rice Funeral Service. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26 from 12-7 p.m. with family receiving visitors from 5-7 p.m. Burial will follow in Sageeyah Cemetery.

Zach passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. He was 18 years old.

Born in Tahlequah, Okla. on March 5, 1995 to Billy Carson and Lisa Trickey, Zach attended Claremore High School. Zach had a huge heart and great patience often spending countless hours at family gatherings taking care of the toddlers.

He was also known for his great smile that caused his whole face to light up as well as those around him.

Zach also demonstrated a strong work ethic which was recognized by not only his employer at Little Ceasar’s but also his fellow coworkers. Free time could find Zach enjoying two of his greatest passions, listening to The Beatles or skateboarding with friends at the Claremore Skateboard park.

This loving son, brother and friend will be missed by all who knew him.

Zach is survived by his mother Lisa Trickey and step-father Todd of Claremore, father Billy Carson and step-mother Valerie of Shawnee; sister Maegan Carson, half-brother Garret Carson;  step-sisters Ashlee Trickey of Owasso, Kasee Trickey of Pilot Mountain, N.C., step-brothers Tyler and Lane Trickey of Pilot Mountain, N.C., Brandon and Bailey Moon of Shawnee; great grandparents Jay and Louise Sullins of Council Hill; great grandmother Kathryn Corbell of Porter; grandparents Tony and Linda Sullins of Council Hill, grandmother Sue Trickey of Foyil, grandparents David and Rita Carson of Hitchita and Grandmother Jan ; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends.

Zach is preceded in death by his great grandmother Dovie Sullins, great grandfather Bob Corbell, cousins David Root, Justin Ray, aunt Teresa Root, uncle Steve Anglin, uncle Don Reasons and uncle Ben Fuller.

    She is the daughter of Fred and Ida Cook Birchmeier. She spent her early life traveling, as her dad worked on the pipeline construction projects. She was in the 4th grade when her family bought a farm in Emporia, Kan.

    A celebration of the life of Kenneth Wayne DeLozier, Sr., will be 10 a.m., Wed., April 16, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Chelsea. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Chelsea Cemetery under the direction of Rice Funeral Service. Visitation will be Monday from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

    A mass of Christian burial for Marion “Buddy” Robertson, Sr. will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with Father Paul Eichoff officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rice Funeral Service.  Visitation will be Friday from 3-7 with a wake and prayer vigil at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Garden at Rice Funeral Service.   Family will receive visitors at the conclusion of the prayer service.
